John has worked in the government sector most of his professional career, serving as a police officer and homicide detective, White House Staff director, and assistant city manager.  He has extensive experience in strategic planning, negotiations, and media relations.

He has managed complex police investigations, streamlined the efforts of the City of Miami’s workforce of 4,000 personnel, negotiated with foreign governments on behalf of the White House, and led the logistical efforts of a White House task force seeking to improve interdiction efforts of Federal law enforcement, state and local law enforcement, and the U.S. military along the border between the United States and Mexico.

Currently, John serves as a regional director, fundraiser, and the primary spokesperson for an international charity.  Appointed by the mayor, and unanimously approved by the city council, Mr. Lindsay serve’s on the budget/audit advisory committee of the city in which he resides, Coral Gables, Florida.

John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California at Berkeley.  Awarded the prestigious Pickett Fellowship by the National Institute of Justice Mr. Lindsay attended the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard where he earned a Master’s degree.
